Short Term Accommodation is available for a one night stay, a weekend stay or for a longer stay if needed.

Your Choice Services offers accommodation in a private residence, which will immediately feel like home.

Our men will have their own private room with full access to the kitchen, bathrooms and outdoor areas.

Any assistance required with personal care will be provided if required.

Our short term accommodation has non active overnight periods between the hours of 10pm and 6am. 

We also now offer STA staying in an ocean front Gold Coast 2 Bedroom Apartment for no extra charge.

Your Choice Services has recently partnered with a range of local businesses to offer Work Experience supervised by our Support Worker. It can be part of your Short Term Accommodation stay or just during business hours.

For working towards increased independent daily living skills, some of the activities include:

  • Decision making skills – Shopping, choosing our activities for the day or weekend.

  • Cooking; preparing a meal of your choice from finding the recipe, to shopping or picking our ingredients from the garden to meal preparation and cooking your MasterChef meal.

  • Helping to grow a vegetable garden.

  • Completion of basic chores such as cleaning, maintenance and household duties

  • Work experience at local Businesses

  • Budgeting and responsible handling of money

 

Depending on the time of year, working towards increasing community engagement activities may include, but not limited to:

  • Bush walking in the nearby Cornubia forest where you may spot wallabies out and about.

  • Be part of the pit crew on a Saturday Night Sprintcar race and hang out at the raceshop.

  • Indoor Go Karting at Game Over on the Gold Coast

  • Monster Truck and Speedway events

  • Attend the GC500 Supercar race

  • Staying ocean front at our Surfers Paradise holiday apartment with Indoor and Outdoor pools, Spa and Sauna.

  • Fishing by the river, beach, supervised boat in the calm waters of the Gold Coast bay area or even a Deep Sea Fishing Charter.

  • Visiting local markets, cafes and restaurants.

  • Tenpin bowling, roller skating or Time Zone

  • An outdoor fire pit for those winter nights, we collect our own wood.

  • Taking a long or short drive in our V8 GT Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro SS or V8 Corvette

  • Community events such as sporting matches, live music, NRL Broncos games, Cars and Coffee displays and other Car events.

Please note that all entry costs are included in price of accommodation, however client is to bring own spending money if needed.

 

If you are the quiet, stay at home person then our accommodation is perfect for you.
